I personally love this ship because of its forbidden nature and because I love both Lan brothers individually. Lans are known for being obsessively in love, so having two Lans love each other is incredibly romantic and gives me so many soulmate feelings. I am working on a ship manifesto detailing all the reasons why I think this ship is amazing, but it's not finished yet. Creating content for an incest ship has both been easier and harder than expected. E.g. most discord servers don't allow their members to talk about incest ships, and most mainstream MDZS creators won't like or share incest content for fear of being canceled. There is, however, a solid fanbase for this ship with its own, very welcoming corner on the internet. I've made many new friends through this ship; you just need to know who to talk to.
As to antis: I have never received negative comments on ao3 and only very few on Twitter. Some people who followed me for WangXian content unfollowed me after I started posting Jadecest, but no one harassed me because of it. The platforms where I get the most negative comments are TikTok and Instagram because they heavily recommend your content outside of your bubble.
